Meet Proper T. Cash. A musician I recently photographed. I had a chance to get in a few Q and A’s with this fella. Here’s how it went down…
Depiktions- How are you doing dude?
Proper T. Cash- I’m good. Just chilling at the house working on some new music.
Depiktions- Can you tell my readers a little about yourself?
Proper T. Cash- I’m Proper T.Cash. I’m an artist. I do music on many different levels. Everything from Pop, R&B, Rap, and Spoken Word.
Depiktions- Sweet. How did you get into music?
Musical background? Inspirations?
Proper T. Cash- I like all kinds of music really. I love music like Trey Songz, Usher, and Michael Jackson. I grew up on southern gospel and then I fell in love with Rap. I listen to a lot of battle style rapping and developed a swag of my own.
I always loved to sing. When I found out the ladies like it too, I turned my focus on to R&B. Since then I have done a few different projects. You can hear my last project called “Private Proper T” @ www.myspace.com/propercash
Depiktions- Any musical projects you working on that you want to let people know about?
Proper T. Cash- Right now I’m excited about working on my next project called “Edge of Greatness”
Depiktions- Nice. Can you tell us a lil more of what we can expect in your next project?
Proper T. Cash- Well this is my first solo project so I have the freedom to challenge myself more lyrically.
I’m talking about what people are really going through right now. People want to hear real life. Real R&B. Real music for the soul.
Depiktions- That’s cool.
I’m sure everyone is curious of when you’ll drop that on us.
Is there somewhere people can get updates from you?
Proper T. Cash- My album Edge of Greatness is due around August, but I’m going to be dropping a few singles.
